Food: Boeuf Bourgignon (a french beef+red wine stew, it's the perfect winter food, you gotta try it) It takes a long time to cook so my family don't make it often, it's for special occasions (even though we should all eat less beef for the planet)

Drink: green tea (with lemon!!). White monster is delish tho. Honorable mention to all fruit juice, especially orange juice with pulp

Planet: Earth (I'm quite atttatched to it)

Season: Winter. As much as I love nature, a cold, grey, quiet world is mesmirising, it's like being on the moon. Also I hate summer heat, even in the UK.

Go-to Coffee order: Cappuchino, although at my school cafeteria I drank a lot of Flat Whites with oat milk and cinnamon syrup. I'm actually more of a chocolate/vanilla person though, the cinnamon syrup was kinda nasty. Cinnamon itself is nice, but as a syrup, I don't know, it tastes alchoholic in a bad way.

I realise that a list isn't really enough to give people an idea of who I am, but hopefully this website (when it's finished) will be enough.

Oh also here's some stuff about my future:

I want to be a botanist. That is, i want to study plants. I'm not competely sold on doing fieldwork in British countryside to identify and preserve plant species (like BSBI). The pay wouldn't be great I don't thing. Ecology consultant sucks. Proffessor also sucks unless I do a free degree in europe (socialist loan-free paradise for EU passport holders). I wanted to do plant genentic engineering (GMOs) but after learning how detrimental they are to the environemnt I'm a little lost. 16yr old me was like "working in a lab, with plants? Perfect!". I still feel this way but now I have stricter ethical standards.

My main motivation is saving the planet I guess. Unlike the human extinctionist movement, I think humanity can get it's shit together in the future. There's probably always going to be totalitarian regimes and wars, but I hope the general trend is towards a better future. Or humanity nukes itsef into extinction, in which case not my problem I'll be gone.

I prefer plants to animals. Animals are gross. I think a lot of them are boring to be honest. Society is obsessed with animals, especially vertebrates. I don't think vertebrates are that interesting, their biology is so similar to ours! Birds have kidneys and everything. Fish are a bit more interesting. But invertabrates are where the interesting stuff happens. Insects, molluscs, echinoderms, crustaceans, cephalopods, cnidarians. Not to mention microorganisms. A large animal's behaviour patterns are kinda dull. Sure, lions form social bonds, how cute, but what about viruses? What about bacteriophages and cyanobacteria and protists. I mean personally micoorganisms come 2nd to plants but understanding an organism on a cellular level is far more interesting than ecology. Both are biology of course. And I might be forced to be an "ecologist" working for vile building companies. I just want everyone to focus on making the world a better place. I don't know how we're supposed to do that but I'll do my part.
